What Katie Did Lingerie

Founded in 1999 What Katie Did specialise in lingerie and corsetry inspired by silver screen sirens of the '40s and '50s.
Their collections can be purchased at www.whatkatiedid.com, or in their stores based in London UK and Hollywood USA.

As well as being into ’40s & ’50s fashion, a lot of you also know that we’re into ’40s & ’50s cars. Prada’s SS12 collection combines the two, with ’50s Americana car prints and some crazy hot rod flamed shoes. To tell you the truth I don’t know if I love or hate this collection. It’s very distinctive and could hardly be classed as an investment purchase you could wear for years - which makes it a very expensive indulgence. Also, at 40, it’s the first collection I’ve seen where I’ve thought ‘if only I was 20 years younger’ (as well as being a lot richer!) But those shoes rock! What do you think?

I stole the images from http://dollycoolclare.blogspot.com/2012/01/design-inspiration-mid-century-modern.html as she seemed to have the best collection online and I didn’t have time to resize them myself. Hope you’re okay with this Clare…
